Murtech currently has a small business indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) support contract through GSA that supports the JPM Guardian Commercial off the Shelf Modernization Strategy (COTS MOD) program. This support fills task orders for various supply chain and logistics needs of various government first responders. The task orders vary in size and complexity, requiring rapid evaluation, and compliance with governmental regulations and protocols, such as individual unique identification (IUID) labeling for components of greater than $5000 dollars. Each task order is provided to the holders of the prime contracts that were awarded in early 2013, and the awardees typically have 5 to 10 days to turn around a complete task order response that is technically proficient and cost acceptable. Murtech has been successful in winning several task orders earmarked for small business vendors. These task orders have required material purchases, delivery, kitting, training, and some packaging design work to match the end users limitations for size and weight.
